Canon 815 Ink Reset
If your Canon 815 ink cartridge is unable to print due to an empty or nearly empty cartridge, you can reset the ink level counter to get the cartridge working again. This can help you save money on buying a new cartridge and is a simple process you can complete in just a few steps.
Step 1: Turn off your printer and then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Open the front cover of the printer and remove any ink cartridges installed in the printer.
Step 3: Find the two small “reset” buttons on the right side of the printer near the ink cartridges. These reset buttons look like small red circles.
Step 4: Press and hold the two reset buttons at the same time for approximately five seconds.
Step 5: When the reset buttons are released, a message should appear on the printer’s display screen. The message should say “The ink level has been reset.”
Step 6: Insert the nearly empty cartridge back into the printer. You can now turn the printer back on and continue printing.
By following these steps, you should be able to reset the ink level counter on your Canon 815 ink cartridge and get it working again. Once the ink level has been reset, the cartridge should continue printing normally until it finally runs out of ink.
