If you cannot find the printer that has been shared, please follow the steps below to check whether the printer has been shared with others successfully.
1. Make sure the printer is connected and powered on.
2. Check the printer settings and make sure the printer is shared and all permissions are enabled.
3. Go to the “Network & Sharing Center” in Control Panel and make sure the network connection is working properly.
4. Look for the shared printer on the network by clicking “View devices and printers” in the Control Panel.
5. If the printer still cannot be located, make sure the computer sharing the printer has an active Internet connection.
6. If all of the above steps have been checked and the printer still cannot be located, try restarting both devices and re-sharing the printer.
7. If all else fails, try reinstalling the printer driver on the computer sharing the printer.
Most importantly, make sure the printer is shared correctly so that other computers can detect it. If the printer has been shared successfully, but still cannot be located, it may be due to network or firewall issues. If this is the case, contact the network administrator for assistance.
