Step 1. Open the printer box, take out the printer, the necessary accessories and the installation disk.

Step 2. Connect the power cord of the printer to the power outlet and turn on the printer.

Step 3. Install the installation disk on the computer, and then follow the instructions to install the printer driver.

Step 4. Connect the printer to the computer. Insert the USB cable into the port on the back of the printer, and then connect the other end of the cable to the USB port of your computer.

Step 5. Turn on the computer, and then double click the installed driver icon to open the printer driver setup window.

Step 6. Check the options in the printer driver setup window to ensure that all the settings are correct, and then click “OK” to finish the driver installation.

Step 7. Close the printer driver setup window, and then print a test page to check the printer’s performance.

Step 8. Place the printer at the desired location on the desk.

Step 9. Load the paper into the printer. Place the paper into the tray and pull out the tray supports to make sure that the paper is loaded evenly.

Step 10. Place the necessary ink cartridges into the printer. Fit the ink cartridges into the printer according to the instructions in the user manual.

Step 11. Turn on the printer and test the printer’s performance.

Step 12. Enjoy your new printer.
