In the service mode, press ‘Additional Functions’ and choose ‘Reset Toner.’ When this has been done, press the ‘Reset Toner’ button and the printer will indicate that it is ready for the new toner cartridge.

You can now open the toner cartridge and remove the old cartridge. Place the new toner cartridge into the printer and close the printer’s cartridge cover. Press the ‘Menu’ button and select ‘OK.’ The printer will now be reset and you can continue printing.
